ATTICUS FINCH!
Atticus Finches Role in the novel, was the father of Jem and scout, he plays the lawyer of Tom Robenson, He is an inspiring character through out the novel, He is looked down upon, as a male who helps and has friends that are nigro's. He represents Tom in court as a lawyer to a crime of rape to white girl.
He says how looking down upon nigros just because the colour of there skin is wrong.

Is Atticus Finch an outsider?
Atticus is not an outsider, however, it is his actions that make him become an outsider throughout the novel. By defending Tom Robinson Atticus sets himself apart from the population of Maycomb and he then becomes the outsider by voicing his opinion which is the opposite of everyone elses.

Which essential question does Atticus finch connect to and why?
Atticus connects to the question what difference can one person make? Because Atticus Finch in that one person trying to make a difference in Maycomb by defending Tom Robinson. Although it didn't really make a difference in anyone else's eyes, it is his children that would grow up to become better people because of him.
